Founded more than 40 years ago, Baker Sterchi is a recognized leader in civil defense litigation. Our attorneys practice throughout the United States, representing national, regional and local companies and professionals across a variety of industries. We handle a broad range of cases, including product liability, commercial, employment and labor, financial services, environmental, insurance and personal injury.

Office Locations

• Kansas City, Missouri – Our headquarters are in the Crown Center area, a commercial, retail and entertainment hub, near the Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte County courthouses and the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas.
• St. Louis, Missouri – Located in downtown St. Louis, one block north of the historic Old Courthouse, within walking distance of the Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Local attractions include the Gateway Arch, City Garden, Ballpark Village, and Busch Stadium.
• Belleville, Illinois – Situated in the Bank of America building on Public Square in Historic Downtown Belleville, directly across from the St. Clair County courts. Belleville hosts the Art on Square festival in May, consistently rated among the country’s top five art fairs.
• Seattle, Washington – Located on Lake Union in the South Lake Union neighborhood, just blocks from downtown and the historic waterfront. Nearby attractions include Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, MoPop, Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum, Gas Works Park and Seattle Center.
• Portland, Oregon – In the core of Portland’s historic Buckman district, just across the Willamette River from both state and federal courts.
• Green Bay, Wisconsin – Located downtown near the Brown County Courthouse and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Nearby attractions include Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and the National Railroad Museum.
• Madison, Wisconsin – Centrally located with convenient access to the Beltline Highway, 15 minutes from downtown, Dane County Courthouse, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the State Capitol and the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Madison is known for its five surrounding lakes, vibrant arts, music and food scenes, as well as attractions like the country’s largest producer-only farmers market and the pedestrian-only State Street shopping and dining district.
